Description

Redirects a user to the page (for example) about-me if he typed about-me1 or abbout-me214 or any similar case.

Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

e.g.

  1. Upload redirect-to-similar.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Your 404 page won’t be reached ever.

The idea is great. However,after I installed and enabled the plugin, i found it redirected all 404 pages to home, instead of similar pages. My site has millions of pages. How can we make it works with really similar pages?

An elegant solution to avoid 404s after moving a website to a different domain. My permalink structure includes the post id and post title.
