WP Head Cleanup helps you to remove unnecessary extra links from the page header.

The Plugin will remove following links:

  1. rsd_link
    This will remove Really Simple Discovery link from the header.

  2. wp_generator
    This will remove the WordPress generator tag.

  3. feed_links
    This will remove the standard feed links.

  4. feed_links_extra
    This will remove the extra feed links.

  5. index_rel_link
    This will remove index link.

  6. wlwmanifest_link
    This will remove wlwmanifest

  7. parent_post_rel_link
    This will remove parent post link

  8. start_post_rel_link
    This will remove start post link

  9. adjacent_posts_rel_link_wp_head
    This will remove the prev and next post link

  10. wp_shortlink_wp_head
    This will remove shortlink for the page

Installation

  1. Unzip the plugin file and extract the folder.
  2. Upload the wp-head-cleanup folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

Usage

  1. Go to ‘WP Head Cleanup’ under ‘Settings’ menu
  2. Choose the options of your choice
