Installation

Search for ‘Web-Stat’ in the Worpress plugin library
Click on ‘Install’
Click on ‘Activate’
That’s it: Web-Stat is now installed and recording your visitors in real time
Click on ‘View My Stats’ or on the Web-Stat link in the admin side bar and check out your visitors!

FAQ

Will Web-Stat be visible to my users?

No: Web-Stat runs in invisible mode on your site by default. You have the option to have Web-Stat show a visitor counter, but that’s entirely up to you (that option is available from the admin menu bar: Settings > Web-Stat)

What is the cost of upgrading to the premium version?

Web-Stat will run out of the box for free in its basic version. If you want extra stats like click-paths, bounce rate, time on site, etc, you will need to upgrade your account to the premium version. The cost is $9.50 per month.

What is my login info?

Web-Stat loads automatically from the WordPress admin menu. If you prefer, you can also check your stats from our site at https://www.web-stat.com. To get your login info, click on Settings: Web-Stat in the Word Press admin menu bar, then open the ‘My Info’ section of the Web-Stat Settings Panel. It contains your login ID (which is your email) and your password, which you can use to log into your account on the Web-Stat site.

Le SAV est particulièrement réactif et très à l’écoute. De tous les outils, même les plus connus, il est mon préféré de très très loin.+++Web-Stat is a particularly complete and easy-to-use tool… The free version and the opportunity to try out a paid version for a few weeks is a plus that made me decide to go for the paid version. The after-sales service is particularly responsive and very attentive. Of all the tools, even the best known, this is my favourite by a long long way.

I had an issue with a conflict between Wed-stat and another plugin that was causing Web-stat to stop displaying data. Olivier responded very promptly to my support request and was able to identify and resolve the problem quickly. I would not have known where to look. All is functioning well thanks to his responsive and capable support.

I own a nationwide real estate marketing company, and we first installed Web-Stat about 2-1/2 years ago. It was easily the best web statistics program around (and still is)…but we wanted the additional information provided by the Pro version. I think we upgraded to the pro version around 3 months after using the free version. The Pro version is hands down worth wayyyy more than the $9.95 we pay each month for the amount of information we can see from every single website visit!!! We’re currently averaging between 80-150 visits to our site per day, and Web-Stat shows us EVERYTHING we want to know, and presents it in SUCH a logical and comprehensive manner!! We’ve tried other web analytics plugins in the past (probably 8-10 of them)…and NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM can hold a candle to Web-Stat in terms of functionality, ease of use, and presentation. Oh, and the customer service couldn’t be any better!! The response times are quick, and the answers are friendly and thorough! I like that!We’re users for life!! If you’re on the fence about this software, don’t be! You can spend hours and hours installing and testing other analytics programs, but you won’t find one that comes anywhere CLOSE to what Web-Stat offers! Trust me, I’ve already tried!

I have tried many analytics plugins and they were either underwhelming or overwhelming. WebStat provides detailed analytics in an elegant manner that is easy to digest with data privacy in consideration. They gave a generous premium trial period to test all the settings afterwhich I continued premium with a monthy subscription. Today, I encountered a rare issue which was immediately resolved, so with this level of support, I remain a loyal customer.

So no matter what the reason is, it is a fact that the email address is transferred from the plugin without consent into a database at the programmer system! Something that must be classified as questionable from the perspective of data protection. I think, if they want to use your eMail address they have to ask for. And if they want to generate a account in your name, they have to ask for. And if they want to collect your data on their local systems… they have to ask for!
