Verified Origin Lite gives WordPress website owners a simple local website trust snapshot, a clear Run Lite Trust Check action and a public Lite badge.
The Lite plugin checks basic WordPress trust markers such as HTTPS, privacy policy presence, contact route, published page depth and public website identity. It is designed to help users review basic website trust signals, site trust indicators, website credibility signals and simple website verification markers from inside WordPress.
Lite also shows clear next-step advice and explains what the full Verified Origin Pro review unlocks.
Verified Origin Lite is intentionally cautious. It does not claim to legally verify a business, prove identity, guarantee website credibility, prove content originality, or run the full Verified Origin cloud trust engine. It provides basic local review signals to support human judgement.

Installation
- Upload the plugin files to
/wp-content/plugins/verified-origin-lite/, or install through the WordPress Plugins screen. - Activate Verified Origin Lite.
- Go to VO Lite in the WordPress admin menu.
- Click Run Lite Trust Check and review the Basic Trust Snapshot.
- Add the shortcode
[verified_origin_lite_badge]where required, or enable the floating badge in settings.
