StagTools powers your WordPress website with some regularly needed shortcodes including buttons, columns, alerts, font icons etc. It also includes several widgets and editor styles.

Installation
Minimum Requirements
- WordPress 4.0 or greater
- PHP version 5.2.4 or greater
- MySQL version 5.0 or greater
Automatic Installation
- Log in and navigate to Plugins → Add New.
- Type “StagTools” into the Search input and click the “Search Widgets” button.
- Locate the “StagTools” in the list of search results and click “Install Now”.
- Click the “Activate Plugin” link at the bottom of the install screen.
- Navigate to Settings → StagTools to modify the plugin’s settings. The widgets will be available in Appearance → Widgets.
Manual Installation
- Download the “StagTools” plugin from WordPress.org.
- Unzip the package and move to your plugins directory.
- Log into WordPress and navigate to the “Plugins” screen.
- Locate “StagTools” in the list and click the “Activate” link.
- Navigate to Settings → StagTools to learn about the plugin’s features. The widgets will be available in Appearance → Widgets.

What is this plugin and why do I need it?

The StagTools provides extra functionality to any WordPress theme. It includes shortcode builder, font icons and several widgets along with custom post types (only for Codestag Themes). This plugin is not requirement to use Codestag themes however it extends the theme functionality.

Can I insert shortcodes manually instead of using shortcode generator?

Yes; although we have a shortcode builder you can also see a list of all available shortcodes and use it manually in any supported area.

Can I use this plugin with other themes?

The StagTools was developed to work with any WordPress theme as it includes default styling. However, we provide our extra bit of styling to all of our themes at Codestag.

Why shortcodes are prefixed with stag_ ?
-
Simply to avoid any conflict with other shortcodes on your site enabled via any third-party plugin or theme.
