Simple SEO improvements – lightweight solution to power up your website.

Change the HTML title and META robots fields for all post types and taxonomies.

Content editing allows you to set a meta value for the page title and description, posts, and content types.

The configuration allows you to set the default values of the “robots” meta field for pages, entries, attachments, and your content types.

You can block the indexing of unwanted pages, such as attachment pages, but leave the link-follow parameter.

You can also choose whether the global settings will set values for new content or be enforced for each content type.

Installation

There are 3 ways to install this plugin:

1. The super-easy way

Navigate to the Plugins > Add menu in your Admin
Search for Simple SEO Improvements
Click to install
Activate the plugin
A new box Simple SEO Improvements will appear in the entry and taxonomy screen
A new menu SEO Improvements in Appearance will appear in your Admin Settings Menu

2. The easy way

Download the plugin (.zip file) on the right column of this page
In your Admin, go to the menu Plugins > Add
Select the button Upload Plugin
Upload the .zip file you just downloaded
Activate the plugin
A new box Simple SEO Improvements will appear in the entry and taxonomy screen
A new menu SEO Improvements in Appearance will appear in your Admin Settings Menu

3. The old and reliable way (FTP)

Upload the Simple SEO Improvements folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
A new box Simple SEO Improvements will appear in the entry and taxonomy screen
A new menu SEO Improvements in Appearance will appear in your Admin Settings Menu

There are a lot of SEO plugins but all of them put a lot of stress not on the way our WP is running - they have a lot useless features and thus very often tend to corrupt. Simple SEO Improvements plugin has all essential that such a plugin needs to have - and simultaneously do not make our WP unstable. IMHO it is the must choice for everybody that really wants to have light WP that runs stable.
