Outgoing Mail Identity Editor

Put a human face on emails sent from your WordPress website!

System generated emails, for example the message triggered by the ‘lost password’ link, have a default value of “WordPress” in the ‘From’ field.

This means your users will receive a message from someone named WordPress who has the email address

With this plugin you can make things look a bit more professional by changing the default name and email address on all outgoing WordPress emails to values of your choice.

  • The settings screen in Outgoing Mail Identity Editor

  1. Upload “outgoing-mail-identity-editor” folder to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress

How do I use this plugin?

Click the SETTINGS link under the Outgoing Mail Identity Editor listing in the plugins list, or go straight to Settings/Outgoing Mail Identity Editor and follow the instructions.
