This simple widget uses the wp_list_pages() to output a local navigation menu. The widget installs in seconds and is implemented just as quickly.


This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.


  1. Upload the local-navigation-widget folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Add the ‘Local Navigation Widget’ to an existing sidebar
