Simple plugin to display random posts on your wordpress blog. Plugin provides a widget to display random posts in sidebar.
Also comes with a shortcode [randomposts] to include on pages.

- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/FourNodesRandomPost
directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Goto Widgets to setup a widget in sidebar.
- Use shortcode [randomposts] to include in pages.

Yes, you can limit it to pick posts from a specific category. You can select a category in widget settings.
