Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/FourNodesRandomPost directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Goto Widgets to setup a widget in sidebar.
  4. Use shortcode [randomposts] to include in pages.

Yes, it displays random posts on each reload.

Can I limit it to show post from a specific category?

Yes, you can limit it to pick posts from a specific category. You can select a category in widget settings.

How many posts can I show ?

As many as you want. Just set the number of posts in widget settings.
