- What is Docular?
-
Docular is a web application that allows users to create professional-grade legal documentation (including website T&Cs and privacy policies) with relative ease.
- What types of document will I find on Docular?
-
Docular includes 45+ different sets of T&Cs for websites, and 5+ different privacy policy templates.
At present, the entire library consists of English law documents, and depending upon the circumstances in which they are used, documents may need to be adapted to take account of the rules of different legal systems.
- Will the documents help me with GDPR compliance?
-
All Docular documents have been updated to reflect the requirements of the GDPR. Specifically, the data processing clauses in the Docular library have been updated to reflect the requirements of Article 28 of the GDPR, and the privacy policies have been updated to reflect the GDPR’s data controller disclosure requirements.
- Where do the documents come from? Can I trust them?
-
All the Docular documents are written by highly experienced lawyers (or where appropriate, other professionals) specialising in the relevant field.
- Are the documents updated regularly?
-
Yes – indeed they are updated much more often than most template libraries. In a typical year, around half the documents in the library will be updated to reflect changes in law and practice.
- Will Docular save me time?
-
It typically takes less than half the time to produce a legal document using Docular, as compared with editing a good template using word processing software.
- What if I need highly customised T&Cs?
-
Docular has two editing modes. The standard editing mode reduces the scope for error; the power editing mode allows you to change almost anything in the document.
- Where are my Docular documents saved?
-
Your edited documents are stored on our cloud servers, but you can download them any time you like in a range of different formats.
